Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens…. No, no,
seriously though…
There are things, some tangible, some not, that make
you feel just wonderful.
Here I reflect on what a few of those look like to me,
because (It’s true!) these “little” things really are what make life
extraordinary!
Nothing beats the sound of my babies belly laughing… you
know the kind where they are completely unbridled and just can’t stop…
Roadtrips with the hubby, where he drives and I DJ…

Jasmine – I love this stuff so much I’ll spray it in my hair just so I can
catch the scent throughout the day… I wear this for me!
Conversations where you unexpected really connect with
someone… that moment where you discover their lyrics.
God’s artwork: Texas sunrises and sunsets when viewed across
an untouched piece of land.
The deep, melodic tones sung by those really huge windchimes
(not the tinkly tinkly ones…)
Fresh sheets, white dishes, lyrics, thunderstorms, music in
minor keys, Gardenia or Honeysuckle candles, symmetry.
Homemade bread, fresh out of the oven, a good bass line, the
first cool breeze after a hot summer, coffee in bed, gazing in wonder at the
full moon…
So what are the things that make your life special? That
gives you that sense of peace, or that little bit of pizzazz?
